CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT AND INSPECTION SERVICES

The City of Pasadena is seeking services from qualified firms to provide construction management and inspection services on an as-needed basis to supplement existing resources in its Water Division for various water utility capital improvement and maintenance projects. The selected firm will provide construction management services, including coordinating requests for information, assisting with contract correspondence, performing project-level reviews of contractor schedules, and participating in progress meetings. The firm will also provide inspection services, including monitoring field testing and verifying quantities and schedules of values in contractor invoices. The contract will be for a term of one year, with the option to renew for up to four additional years. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any non-conformity of proposals with this RFP. • The City is seeking a firm with experience in providing construction management and inspection services for water utility projects. • The selected firm will be required to provide a proposed work schedule and estimate of the amount of time to be spent with City staff. • The firm will be required to submit a technical proposal, price proposal, and statement of qualifications. • The City will evaluate proposals based on factors such as the firm's experience, qualifications, and price.
