W065--Negative Pressure Wound VAC Therapy Rental Pittsburgh VAMC | Intent to Sole Source

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System, requires the rental of a negative pressure wound therapy system. The system should provide daily rental of negative pressure wound therapy device equipment for the VA Pittsburgh healthcare at Pittsburgh VA Medical Center and H.J. Heinz III campus. The contractor shall provide training to all clinical staff members on each of the contracted products and ensure that all contractors complete the VA Privacy Training for Personnel without Access to VA Computer Systems or Direct Access to or Use to VA Sensitive Information. Key requirements include: • Providing daily rental of negative pressure wound therapy device equipment • Ensuring the equipment monitors and maintains target pressure • Providing training to all clinical staff members on each of the contracted products • Ensuring all contractors complete the VA Privacy Training • Delivering and picking up equipment as needed • Providing spare negative pressure wound therapy devices for backup The contract will include a period of performance of a base, one-year plus four one-year option periods.
