Replacement of EVOS imaging system

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is seeking to replace an existing EVOS imaging system that has been in use for over 12 years and is nearing end-of-life. The new system will support research conducted by the Mili lab and other groups within the Laboratory of Cellular and Molecular Biology (LCMB), NIH/NCI. The system will be used for visualizing live and fixed cell populations, monitoring cell growth, and maintaining optimal culture conditions. • The system must provide high-quality single time-point and time-lapse acquisitions across multiple fluorescence channels. • The system will serve as a valuable alternative for applications that do not require the high-resolution capabilities of higher-end confocal microscopes. • The system must be able to support daily assessment of cell growth and maintenance of optimal culture conditions. • The system must be able to evaluate expression patterns and levels of fluorescent constructs.
