Assessment of Paratransit Program

The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) is seeking professional services to support the assessment of its existing paratransit program. The selected vendor will be responsible for evaluating WMATA's current paratransit technology portfolio, developing a recommended modernization strategy, creating an implementation plan, and developing a recommended acquisition strategy for the selection and procurement of a new paratransit system. The key tasks include: • Evaluating WMATA's current paratransit technology portfolio and developing a recommended modernization strategy • Creating an implementation plan to prepare WMATA for the deployment of a new or enhanced paratransit system • Developing a recommended acquisition strategy for the selection and procurement of a new paratransit system The vendor will need to have experience in paratransit systems, technology portfolio evaluation, and acquisition strategy development.
