LICENSEE & OPERATOR SERVICES FOR ARMORY HALL, A CITY-OWNED COMMUNITY FOOD HALL

The City of Aspen is seeking a qualified operator to manage Armory Hall, a community food hall containing five food kitchens, limited retail or grab and go, community meeting space, rentable event space, and a main floor lunch counter with beverage service. The operator will be responsible for subleasing the food vendor and community spaces, managing the beverage service, and overseeing event programming to maximize the vitality of the building. The City envisions a long-term partnership with the operator, aligning interests by sharing in project revenues and profits. Key responsibilities include: • Subleasing the food vendor and community spaces • Managing the beverage service • Overseeing event programming • Day-to-day operations of the building, including cleaning, paying of utilities, and snow removal • Providing input on branding and signage The ideal candidate will have experience with a similar level of project scope, experience with food halls, management services, and creating vital, lively establishments.
