TELECOMMUNICATION AND INTERNET TRANSPORT SERVICES

Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE) is seeking qualified telecommunications providers to enter into an indefinite‑quantity master agreement for leased lit‑fiber and dark‑fiber services supporting K‑12 schools, charter schools, community colleges and LACOE data‑center sites throughout Los Angeles County. The contract will cover design, construction (including conduit and any required special construction), delivery of fiber circuits, ongoing network operation, 24 × 7 NOC support, and compliance with security and SLA requirements. The agreement is a three‑year base period (July 1 2026 – June 30 2029) with possible one‑year extensions and does not guarantee a minimum volume; LACOE will issue task orders as needs arise. Vendors must be facilities‑based carriers, provide detailed rate tables for 100 Mbps‑100 Gbps tiers, honor rates for at least 180 days, and meet de‑barment, non‑collusion, and insurance requirements.
