Trucking Services

The City of Napa is seeking proposals from qualified individuals or firms to provide trucking services for the transportation of approximately 60,000 tons of asphalt, sand, and other aggregate materials over a three-year term. The services will be performed on a task order basis, with no minimum amount of work guaranteed. The contractor must demonstrate the ability to respond to short-notice dispatches, own and operate at least 25% of the trucks required for each task order, and provide properly equipped trucks and experienced drivers. The contractor will be required to provide reliable, on-time trucking services, assign experienced drivers for task orders involving paving and/or grinding operations, and maintain professional conduct and communication on project sites. • Receiving grindings/millings during cold planing operations • Delivery and feeding of hot mix asphalt into the City's CAT AP655F Paver • Backhauling materials or assisting with debris and spoil removal • Hauling of construction materials The City plans to award up to two multi-year agreements with a combined total not-to-exceed amount of up to $3,000,000.
