U.S. Embassy Bridgetown Janitorial Services

The U.S. Embassy in Bridgetown, Barbados requires janitorial services for its real property. The contract will be for a one-year base period with four one-year optional periods of performance. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary janitorial supplies and equipment, and for performing daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly cleaning tasks. The contractor will also be required to provide temporary additional services as needed. Some key tasks include sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning of restrooms and other areas. • Daily cleaning tasks: sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning of restrooms • Weekly cleaning tasks: polishing metal surfaces, dusting tops of furniture, spot cleaning baseboards and walls • Monthly cleaning tasks: cleaning stoves, refrigerators, and window blinds • Quarterly cleaning tasks: removing and washing window blinds, shampooing carpets in high-traffic areas • Temporary additional services: supporting special events at the Post, providing services outside of regular working hours
