Description
The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene is seeking a qualified pharmacy vendor to provide on‑call therapeutic delivery services during public‑health emergencies. The contractor will receive, store, dispense, and deliver medication to patients’ homes or medical‑provider offices across all five NYC boroughs on the same day a prescription is received, at no cost to the patient. The contract will run for six years, with a maximum funding ceiling of $9 million, and requires rapid scaling capability, multilingual counseling, and extensive data reporting.
• Store and manage emergency‑stock medications (including temperature‑controlled items).
• Dispatch same‑day home deliveries within 24 hours of prescription receipt, scaling up to 750 deliveries per day after activation.
• Provide multilingual patient counseling (minimum ten languages) and daily reporting of prescription and inventory data.
• Comply with NYC privacy, cybersecurity, and HIPAA requirements; submit regular performance and incident reports.
• Use the PASSPort portal for proposal submission; pre‑proposal conference held virtually on 2/11/26.
