RFQ for On-Call for Quality Assurance Services

The County of Yuba is seeking on-call quality assurance services for various construction and capital improvement projects. The selected consultant will provide materials sampling, testing, and inspections, as well as construction quality assurance report preparation and quality assurance program development. The contract will be for a maximum of 3 years, with a maximum aggregate contract total of $2,000,000. The consultant will work closely with the County to ensure that contractors incorporate materials that satisfy contract specifications. Key responsibilities include site visits, sampling and testing, daily field reports, and final report preparation. • The consultant will provide quality assurance services for materials sampling, testing, and inspections • The consultant will prepare a final construction quality assurance report • The consultant will assist the County with development of the next 5-year Quality Assurance Program (QAP) and project-specific QAPs • The consultant will provide recommendations for observed and tested materials • The consultant will assist the County with writing project memos regarding materials
