Description
The County of Los Angeles, Internal Services Department is seeking a vendor to provide moving services to relocate items from 600 S. Commonwealth Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90005 to two different locations, including the Gas Company Tower located at 555 W. 5th St., Los Angeles, CA 90013. The vendor will be responsible for providing moving services, transportation of equipment, boxes, ergonomic equipment, and providing adequate carts to move computer monitors, etc. The vendor must also unbolt file cabinets from walls and uninstall ergonomic equipment from cubicle desks surfaces. The move must be done within the time frame provided by the requester and the vendor must be able to begin services as soon as possible and/or at least two weeks in advance.
• The vendor must provide a written move schedule, including the number of phases and the duration of the move.
• The vendor must provide building protection, on walls and floors.
• The vendor must comply with LA County’s Purchasing and Contractual requirements.
• The vendor must be able to provide necessary COI insurance requirements, for an onsite vendor.
• The vendor must have staff experience with relocating and assembling office furniture and fixtures.
• The vendor must supply necessary vehicles to load and deliver items.
• The vendor must provide confirmation of scheduled moves in advance and provide written confirmation of relocation has been completed.
