Description
The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified contractors for the provision of maintenance and repair of irrigation systems on a multi-year contract for the Parks and Recreation Department. The contract will cover 35 park locations with various irrigation systems, including Rain Bird, Hunter, and Calsense. The contractor will be required to provide on-call maintenance services, troubleshooting, and repair of irrigation systems, as well as maintain accurate records and provide reports as needed. Some key requirements include:
• A minimum of 3 crews and 6 technicians on staff to handle repairs at multiple locations
• At least 3 technicians on staff who can troubleshoot wiring and other problems with valves, solenoids, and clocks/controllers
• The ability to respond to routine requests for service within 4 hours and be on site within 24 hours
• Compliance with all federal, state, and local codes and regulations, including OSHA and environmental protection standards
• The provision of all labor, equipment, and supplies necessary to perform the required services
• The maintenance of accurate records and provision of reports as needed
