Description
Gwinnett County Public Schools is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified suppliers for On Demand Wrecker & Towing Services. The initial term of this contract is effective August 17, 2026, or upon award, through August 26, 2027, with the option to renew for up to four additional one-year periods. The supplier must be qualified and able to provide wrecker/towing services for the removal of all Classes of vehicles, Light, Medium, and Heavy, that are wrecked or disabled for GCPS Police, Fleet, and Transportation Departments. Services will be provided on a full 24-hour basis every day of the year, with accident response time within thirty (30) minutes. The supplier must maintain a physical business office within the geographical boundaries of Gwinnett County. Key responsibilities include:
• Providing wrecker/towing services for GCPS vehicles
• Responding to calls for service within 30 minutes
• Maintaining a physical business office in Gwinnett County
• Furnishing a labor force, equipment, and other means for removing wrecked or disabled vehicles
• Complying with Federal, State, and Local laws, rules, ordinances, and regulations
