Description
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is seeking bids for the rental of remote control mini skid loaders with operators. The loaders must have a minimum of 20 HP and a lift capacity of 500lbs, be less than 45 inches tall and less than 45 inches wide. The vendor is not required to own all pieces of equipment but must be able to readily provide each piece on contract when requested. The contract will be for an initial period of one year with the option to extend for four additional one-year periods. The vendor will be responsible for maintaining insurance coverage and complying with all applicable laws and regulations.
• The rental rate will be paid by the Transportation Cabinet only during the time the equipment is in actual use on the job.
• The minimum order per delivery order will be eight hours.
• The mobilization line item will be paid only once per delivery order.
• The equipment will be delivered to the place of beginning of operation with no expense to the Department.
• The vendor shall be responsible for all tolls for their equipment when travel involves a toll road.
• The vendor shall provide pricing on the attached bid sheet for each district they wish to bid.
• The vendor must comply with all applicable statutes, regulations, and policies related to this procurement.
