Description
The City of Atlanta is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive uniform services for the Department of Public Works. The services include supply, purchase, or rental, delivery, fitting, customization, laundering, and maintenance of uniforms for field and maintenance personnel. The vendor must provide high-quality, reliable, and responsive uniform services that meet the operational needs of the department. The scope of work includes various requirements such as uniform specifications, sizing and fitting, delivery and fulfillment, system requirements, and vendor qualifications. The city reserves the right to assess liquidated damages for non-compliance with service levels. Key points to consider:
• The vendor must supply, deliver, and maintain the full range of uniforms required under this contract.
• The vendor must maintain a principal place of business in the state of Georgia.
• The vendor must maintain OSHA/ANSI compliance throughout the contract.
• The vendor must provide training for DPW staff on the use of the ordering and inventory system.
