Replacement of Data Center AC Units

The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority is soliciting bids from qualified contractors to provide all labor, equipment, and materials to remove and replace four air conditioning units and tie into the existing chilled water infrastructure in the Data Center at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The successful bidder will be responsible for decommissioning and removing the existing units, providing temporary cooling, and ensuring all doors in the Data Center remain closed and secure during construction. The bidder will also be responsible for recovering refrigerant, delivering and positioning new units, connecting to existing chilled water supply and return lines, and installing all required piping and fittings. • The project requires compliance with all applicable codes and regulations. • The bidder must provide a minimum two-year warranty on workmanship and warrant any repairs performed during the warranty period for an additional year. • The bidder must also provide CRAC units with a full registered parts warranty for a minimum of five years. • A job walk is mandatory before submitting a bid, and the bidder must coordinate with the Project Manager to create a timeline that accounts for existing shows and events.
