Kansas City Area Transportation Authority (KCATA) is seeking a qualified vendor to design, supply, install, and support a fleet‑wide 5G‑enabled mobile connectivity solution for its 231 Gillig transit buses (plus spare kits). The solution must include Cradlepoint R1900 routers (or approved equal), Panorama MAKO 5G dome antennas, cabling, power harnesses, and NetCloud management licensing, as well as unlimited‑data cellular service with static public IPs. • Perform full‑bus surveys, install equipment on 231 buses at a rate of ~60 vehicles/week, configure NetCloud, conduct bench and on‑vehicle testing, and deliver as‑built documentation.
• Supply 3‑year NetCloud licensing, 1‑year warranty, training for administrators/installers, and ongoing support per the specified service‑level agreements.
