Licensed Dietitian for MDH Secure Evaluation & Therapeutic Treatment (SETT)

The Maryland Department of Health (MDH) is seeking a Licensed Dietitian to provide nutritional/dietetic care to individuals with intellectual disabilities residing at the Secure Evaluation & Therapeutic Treatment (SETT) facility. The Dietitian will provide on-site services for 20 hours per week for a term of 6 months. The selected bidder must meet the minimum qualifications and mandatory requirements, including having at least 3 years of experience providing professional nutrition and dietetic services, being certified by the Maryland State Board of Dietetic Practice, and maintaining an active State of Maryland Dietetic Practice license throughout the contract term. Key responsibilities include completing dietary assessments, providing dietary consults, and updating diet conversion charts. • Provide on-site dietary services to individuals with intellectual disabilities • Complete dietary assessments within 3 business days for newly admitted and readmitted individuals • Provide dietary consults as needed • Update and complete the weekly monitoring of food temperature log • Track all weight loss or gain in medical charts and individual files • Implement and track system for supplement and meal intake
