Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 5 is seeking sources for the supply of bakery products, including bread and other baked goods, for the Martinsburg VAMC. The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment, supplies, and supervision to provide bread and bakery items in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract. The contract period is from October 1, 2026, to September 30, 2027. Deliveries are to be made daily, excluding Wednesdays and Sundays, and federal holidays, between 5 a.m. and 11 a.m. to the inventory control unit at the Martinsburg VAMC.
• The contractor must provide a designated point of contact and toll-free number for customer service issues.
• The contractor must notify the VAMC point of contact 48 hours prior to delivery of any substitute products or shortages in shipment.
• The contractor must provide all necessary documentation, including invoices, with proper delivery order numbers and reflect all deliveries made against the delivery order.
• The contractor must comply with all federal regulations, including the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act.
• The contractor must provide bread and bakery items that meet the highest customer service standards of the industry.
