Bi-Annual Carpet Shampooing Services *Small Business Bidders Only*

The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) is seeking a contractor to provide bi-annual carpet shampooing services at the CAL FIRE Southern Operations Center in Riverside, CA. The contractor will be responsible for providing all materials, labor, equipment, and personnel to shampoo the carpets in the Operations Command Center, Training Building, and Administrative Building. The contract will commence on January 1, 2026, and expire on December 31, 2028. The contractor must be a certified California small business and must not subcontract any portion of the work. • The contractor will be required to provide carpet shampooing services bi-annually. • The contractor will be required to vacuum all carpet areas prior to pretreatment or shampooing. • The contractor will be required to apply pretreatment to all stains on carpet prior to shampooing. • The contractor will be required to use a commercial/professional steam cleaner capable of applying water at a minimum temperature of 160 degrees. • The contractor will be required to provide CAL FIRE Project Representative with a list of all cleaning materials/chemicals for review and approval.
