Therapeutic Foster Care Services

The County of Fresno is seeking proposals from qualified local Foster Family Agencies to provide Therapeutic Foster Care services to Fresno County youth. The selected bidder will be chosen based on their response to this RFP and their proposed service capacity. Key aspects of the proposal include: * Providing Therapeutic Foster Care services to youth eligible for Specialty Mental Health Services * Ensuring timely access and integrated services * Utilizing a strengths-based approach * Incorporating person-driven and family-driven care * Providing culturally responsive services * Implementing evidence-based practices * Fostering a trauma-informed and trauma-responsive environment * Supporting co-occurring capable care * Emphasizing continuous quality improvement and outcomes-driven care * Promoting health and wellness, illness and harm prevention, and stigma reduction. Some of the key requirements and responsibilities include: * Providing services in a manner that is streamlined, effective, and seamless * Collaborating with agencies, plans, and workforce to ensure integrated care * Identifying and addressing barriers to access and treatment * Ensuring excellent customer service and transitions between points of care * Utilizing guiding principles of care delivery, such as timely access, strengths-based approach, and cultural responsiveness.
