Ambulance Remount Services

The County of Effingham, Georgia is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide ambulance remount services for a minimum of two Type I ambulance units, with an option for one additional remount unit. The work includes dismounting the existing module, inspection and repair, remounting on a new chassis, repainting/refurbishment, electrical and mechanical upgrades, testing, and delivery. The proposer must demonstrate experience and qualifications in performing ambulance remount services of similar size and scope. Key aspects of the job include: • Inspection and repair or replacement of exterior compartment doors and patient entry door windows • Refurbishment of the interior patient compartment, including new flooring, cabinets, and upholstery • Installation of new electrical and mechanical systems, including a new heating and cooling system • Testing and repair or replacement of the oxygen, vacuum, and HVAC systems • Delivery of the completed units, fully serviced and in first-class operating condition
