Pool of Vendors, Master Order for Lifeboat & Davit Maintenance and Repair

Texas A&M University‑Galveston is establishing a master‑order pool of pre‑qualified vendors to provide ongoing lifeboat and davit maintenance, repair, and annual safety inspection services on its Galveston campus. The contract will be awarded on a “as‑needed” basis over an initial one‑year term with up to four one‑year renewal options (maximum five‑year term). Vendors must submit fixed hourly labor rates (standard, overtime, holiday), inspection fees, and a capped cost‑plus markup for parts. All work is performed during normal business hours (M‑F, 8 am–5 pm CST); overtime/holiday labor must be pre‑approved. Shipping is FOB Destination, freight prepaid, with the vendor bearing all transportation costs. Payment is 100 % Net 30 after receipt, installation, acceptance, and an uncontested invoice. The solicitation requires insurance certificates, a W‑9 (for manual bids), and references.
