Description
Dougherty County is seeking an event planning service to plan and execute events within a set budget. The selected planner will report directly to the County Administrator and primarily coordinate with Human Resources, Facilities Management, and Administration staff. The scope of services includes developing event themes, concepts, and execution plans, negotiating contracts with vendors and service providers, overseeing event logistics, ensuring compliance with safety, security, and liability requirements, and managing event flow. The county is looking for a proposer with experience in event planning, a portfolio of previous events, and a fee schedule with a detailed breakdown of pricing.
• The proposer must provide proof of insurance coverage and references from previous clients.
• The proposer must comply with all laws, ordinances, and regulations applicable to the services contemplated.
• The proposer must provide a certification of non-collusion and a governing law and venue agreement.
• The proposer must register and participate in the Federal Work Authorization Program.
