Catering Services

The City of Richmond is seeking qualified contractors to provide a range of catering-related services, including drop-off catering, boxed/individual meals, buffet catering, full-service catering, and specialty catering. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. The City reserves the right to make multiple awards, award by lot or category, or reject any or all bids. Some key aspects of the job include: • Providing catering services on an as-needed basis • Offering a variety of menu options, including continental breakfast, hot breakfast, cold lunch, hot lunch, cold dinner, and hot dinner • Ensuring all food is prepared, transported, stored, and served in compliance with federal, state, and local health regulations • Providing professional presentation, setup, and cleanup for all catered events • Accommodating special dietary requests, such as vegetarian, vegan, halal, kosher, and gluten-free meals • Offering emergency catering services with less than 24 hours' notice • Using only compostable, recyclable, or biodegradable packaging and refraining from using Styrofoam containers.
