Description
The Oregon Department of Transportation is seeking bids for the replacement of a 140-ton chiller in the east building at the DMV Headquarters in Salem. The work includes uninstalling and removing the existing unit, installing a new unit as specified, replacing two water pumps, replacing the rooftop curb, and testing and balancing. The project is estimated to cost between $100,000 and $300,000 and is expected to start on or after October 1, 2026, with substantial completion by November 24, 2026, and final completion by November 30, 2026. A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on March 17, 2026, at 1:30 pm.
