Chiller compressor replacement and Alexandria LA VA Medical Center

The Alexandria Louisiana VAMC is seeking sources for a potential upcoming formal solicitation to replace two compressors in a chiller. The work includes furnishing all labor, tools, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary for the replacement. The contractor must be a licensed HVAC contractor with at least 3 years of experience servicing Smardt Chillers. The scope of work includes removal of existing compressors, installation of new compressors, testing and commissioning, and providing training to on-site staff. • The replacement of two 500 series compressors with two 700 series compressors • The removal of existing compressors and installation of new ones • Testing and commissioning of the new compressors • Providing training to on-site staff • The contractor must follow all VAMC safety protocols and wear VA-issued badges.
