J065--Patient Monitoring Reconfiguration

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 23, VA Central Iowa Health Care System, is seeking a vendor to provide equipment, materials, and labor for the activation of Philips Patient Monitoring equipment in the 3rd floor Telemetry unit. The installation shall include the installation of existing telemetry central monitoring stations, installation of existing APs, installation of existing MP5s, new equipment accessories, and full configuration and implementation. The vendor must be certified by the original equipment manufacturer, Philips, to provide, install, and configure the equipment. • The installation must be done to the standards of the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Philips Healthcare. • The vendor must have access to reconfigure the networked devices, which requires data to be transferred from one system to another within the facility. • Philips maintains rights to access subfolders that are otherwise locked unless the technician is certified and works for Philips Healthcare. • The contract is expected to be awarded to a single source, with Philips being the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM).
