Description
The U.S. Army is seeking a comprehensive, enterprise-scale Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) solution for the governance and management of its Microsoft 365 (M365) environment. The solution must provide robust capabilities in areas such as enterprise governance, data sensitivity and security, automated records management, SharePoint and Teams management, and storage optimization. The solution must seamlessly integrate with and enhance the native capabilities of the M365 platform, and must be a configurable, vendor-supported platform.
Key features of the required solution include:
• Hierarchical Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and delegated administration of SharePoint Online, Teams, and Power Platform assets
• Automated application of sensitivity and retention labels, oversharing remediation, and data loss prevention
• Full records lifecycle management in compliance with Army and National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) standards
• Automated workspace lifecycle management from self-service creation to archival
• Identification and remediation of Redundant, Obsolete, and Trivial (ROT) data
• High-fidelity backup and restore capabilities for Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams
