Portable Food Concessions at Town Owned Locations 2026

The Town of New Milford is seeking bids for portable food concessions at various town-owned locations, including Lynn Deming Park, Young's Field Park, and Creative Playground. The successful bidder will be required to provide food and drink items, with the exception of ice cream and candy, at the designated locations. The contract will run from April 15, 2026, to November 30, 2026, with options for renewal for up to two additional years. The bidder must provide a minimum offer of $300.00 for each location, and the Town reserves the right to award the bid to different food vendors to encourage diverse offerings. Key responsibilities include: • Providing food and drink items at the designated locations • Maintaining a minimum level of service, including being open on Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00am-5:00pm • Obtaining permission from the Director of Parks & Recreation and the coordinator of special events to vend on certain days • Complying with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to health and safety • Providing proof of insurance and meeting the Town's insurance requirements The bidder must also complete a vendor questionnaire, provide proof of insurance, and comply with the Town's non-discrimination agreements and warranties.
