Disproportionate Share Hospital Payment

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) is seeking competitive proposals from qualified vendors to provide Disproportionate Share Hospital (DSH) Payment Administration. The contract period is from April 1, 2026, through March 31, 2028, with the option to renew for two 24-month periods. The selected vendor will be responsible for administering DSH payments to eligible hospitals. • The vendor must have experience in healthcare payment administration. • The vendor must have a strong understanding of DSH payment regulations and policies. • The vendor must be able to provide accurate and timely payment administration. • The vendor must be able to meet the requirements outlined in the RFP.
