The Department of Homeland Security’s Office of Health Security is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) to gather market data on commercially available, configurable occupational‑health electronic health record (EHR) and management information system (MIS) solutions that could serve approximately 200,000 DHS civilian employees. The RFI seeks insight into existing capabilities, architecture, data‑governance, security, integration, and implementation approaches, with the intent of shaping a future acquisition strategy.
• Target solution: a commercial, configurable Occupational/Employee Health EHR/MIS (no custom software development).
• Required functionalities include pre‑placement, periodic, fitness‑for‑duty, injury/illness/exposure tracking, drug/alcohol testing, immunizations, medical readiness dashboards, and case‑management workflows.
• Must integrate with DHS HR, identity, lab, device, and analytics systems using standards such as HL7 FHIR R4, HL7 v2.x, and USCDI, and be hosted in a FedRAMP‑Moderate, US‑only cloud environment.
• Responses are due by June 3, 2026 (5 PM ET) via the RFI Response Form; the government will not compensate respondents, and no commitment to procure is made at this stage.
