Replacement of Data Center AC Units

The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority is soliciting bids from qualified contractors to replace four air conditioning units and tie into the existing chilled water infrastructure in the Data Center at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The successful bidder will be responsible for providing all labor, equipment, and materials to complete the project, including decommissioning and removing existing units, providing temporary cooling, and ensuring all doors in the Data Center remain closed and secure during construction. The project requires a job walk, and the successful bidder will be responsible for all permitting, fees, and inspections associated with the project. Some key requirements of the project include: • Decommissioning and removing existing Computer Room Air Conditioning (CRAC) units • Providing and maintaining temporary cooling before, during, and until project completion • Ensuring all doors in the Data Center remain closed and secure 24 hours a day, seven days a week during construction • Recovering refrigerant in accordance with environmental regulations • Delivering and positioning new CRAC units per plans provided • Connecting to existing chilled water supply and return lines • Installing all required piping and fittings to ensure proper flow • Making all necessary electrical connections, including main power and controls • Cleaning all ductwork • Providing all equipment to integrate with existing control systems and Automated Logic Corporation (ALC) WebCTRL 9.0 IBMS system
