Existing Illumina sequencing Infrastructure

The National Institutes of Health intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order to Illumina Inc. for their existing Illumina sequencing infrastructure. The Illumina Protein Prep platform combines high-throughput, next-generation sequencing-based proteomics with a comprehensive panel of approximately 9,500 SOMAmer protein targets. The platform includes proprietary dynamic range compression technology and is integrated with Illumina sequencing workflows and DRAGEN bioinformatics pipelines. • The system provides broad protein discovery and relative quantification from a single sample. • It includes proprietary dynamic range compression technology to enhance detection of low-abundance proteins. • The platform is integrated with Illumina sequencing workflows and DRAGEN bioinformatics pipelines. • The system is compatible with the NIAMS Genomic Technology Section's existing Illumina sequencing infrastructure.
