Notice of Intent to Sole Source Service Contract for FIB-SEM Microscope

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Research and Development Center (ERDC) is seeking to award a sole source contract for the annual service and maintenance of a Zeiss Focus Ion Beam Scanning Electron Microscope. The contract will require the contractor to provide preventative maintenance calls, corrective maintenance calls, and emergency service visits as needed. The contractor must also provide support for the instrument during regular business hours and provide unlimited corrective maintenance calls by phone. The contract will be for a period of 3 years and will require the contractor to provide premium service, including coverage for the base Crossbeam 350 and attached system components. • The contractor must provide a field service engineer to conduct one preventative maintenance call per agreement year. • The contractor must provide unlimited corrective maintenance calls by phone during regular business hours. • The contractor must provide service visits as required, including emergency service visits. • The contractor must provide coverage for the base Crossbeam 350 and attached system components. • The contractor must provide software installation support for covered Zeiss software.
