Janitorial Services for Children, Youth & Families Hazleton Office

Luzerne County is seeking proposals from qualified companies for Janitorial Services for the Luzerne County Children, Youth, & Families Hazleton Office. The contract period is from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026. The successful bidder will be required to provide nightly, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and semi-annual services, including emptying waste receptacles, cleaning floors, washing interior door glass, and polishing metal work. The bidder must also supply all necessary items, such as paper towels and soap, and ensure that background checks are conducted on all personnel who will be working on the premises. • Nightly services: emptying waste receptacles, cleaning floors, washing interior door glass, and polishing metal work • Weekly services: cleaning woodwork, doors, and partitions, and cleaning interior glass partitions • Monthly services: washing down walls in washrooms and stalls, and maintaining with disinfectant • Quarterly services: dusting walls and all surfaces not normally reached in nightly cleaning • Semi-annual services: deep scrubbing restrooms with germicidal cleanser The bidder must also provide a certificate of insurance and comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
