METC Instructor Training Support Services

The Defense Health Agency (DHA) is seeking information from interested contractors with the capability to instruct and help lead courses that perform technical and professional training. The courses encompass training for Air Force, Army, and Navy students in various medical fields, including Hospital Corpsman Basic, Medical Laboratory Technician, and Surgical Technology. The contractor shall provide education and training through lectures, hands-on instruction, clinical practice, and other methods. The courses aim to provide students with the knowledge and technical skills required to fulfill their roles in the military. Some of the key aspects of the courses include: • Hospital Corpsman Basic (HCB) Course: prepares enlisted sailors to function as entry-level medical technicians in fixed and non-fixed medical facilities. • Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) Course: provides education and training in the major disciplines of the clinical laboratory. • Surgical Technology (ST) Course: prepares graduates to function as entry-level surgical technologists in fixed and deployable medical facilities.
