Description
The Florida Department of Education is seeking a single vendor to provide statewide property moving services for a 36‑month term. The contractor will be responsible for packing, transporting, and unpacking office furniture, cubicles, trailers, and electronics across all Florida locations, handling roughly 100 moves per year with occasional emergency relocations. Required equipment includes at least one local semi‑truck and one local straight‑truck; no PODs or vehicle‑towing capability is needed. The vendor must staff on‑site in Tallahassee on Wednesdays and Fridays year‑round, obtain all necessary permits, pass DMS background checks for personnel, and comply with IT security requirements for electronic equipment. Billing is on an actual‑hours basis with net‑30 payment terms, and the contract price is frozen for the first three years.
