Level 2 EV Charger Installation

The Victor Valley Transit Authority is seeking a design‑build contractor to add six Level 2 electric‑vehicle (EV) chargers to its main parking lot in Hesperia, CA. The work includes engineering design, permitting, electrical panel upgrades, conduit and wiring installation, concrete work, pavement striping, and full commissioning of the chargers, along with as‑built documentation and training. The contractor must also provide a metering or software solution for individual charger energy use reporting and must meet all applicable California and federal (Buy‑America, Davis‑Bacon) requirements. • Supply and install six identical Level 2 chargers (Leviton 041‑EVB32‑H18, 40 A, Type‑1 SAE J1772) with power‑monitoring capability. • Upgrade existing switchgear with a new 40 A breaker and a dedicated panelboard (weather‑proof if exterior). • Perform civil site work: concrete pads, trenching, re‑striping of parking spaces, and install wheel stops. • Deliver complete design‑build package, obtain all permits, provide testing/commissioning, as‑built drawings, O&M manuals, and training.
