Description
The Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a vendor to provide fire alarm inspection and maintenance services for the Illinois Veterans Home in Quincy, Illinois. The services will include quarterly inspections, testing, and maintenance of the Simplex Grinnell fire alarm systems. The contract will be for a period of 12 months, with the option to renew annually. The vendor will be required to provide factory-trained and certified technicians to perform the services.
• The services will cover 27 buildings on the main campus of the Illinois Veterans Home.
• The vendor will be required to provide quarterly written inspection and performance reports.
• The vendor will be required to repair or replace covered Simplex Grinnell fire alarm panels, components, printed circuit boards, and peripheral equipment that fail under normal use.
• The vendor will be required to provide a detailed explanation of the need for the services and the specifications required to satisfy the need.
