Genius Network Replacement

The project involves replacing obsolete Genius Network communication cards and cabling with PROFINET communication cards and fiber to link remote Input/Output (I/O) cabinets to their respective Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) in the Chambers Creek Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant (CCRWWTP). The work includes removal and disposal of all Genius Network hardware and cable as well as the supply and installation of all new PROFINET Network components. The contract time is 160 calendar days from the date of the "Notice to Proceed." • The project requires the contractor to become fully acquainted with local conditions, construction, and relevant labor. • The contractor must examine the contract documents and site of the work. • The contractor is responsible for ensuring that all equipment, materials, and instruments incorporated into the work are new and of the most suitable grade for the purpose intended. • The contractor must comply with all federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, and regulations that might affect those engaged in the work.
