Area Agency on Aging Emergency Response Services

The Houston-Galveston Area Council (H-GAC) is seeking qualified contractors to provide emergency response services for older persons living in the Texas Gulf Coast area. The services will be provided through an electronic monitoring system, which has a 24-hour, seven-day-a-week monitoring capability. The contractor must adhere to the requirements of the Texas Administrative Code and provide services in the Houston-Galveston Area Agency on Aging region, which includes 12 counties. The contractor will be responsible for installing and managing the system, providing monthly system checks, and repairing or replacing equipment within one day of becoming aware of a malfunction. The contract will be awarded based on a unit rate reimbursement system, and the contractor must provide evidence of background checks for staff who will come into contact with clients.
