Description
The County of Cumberland is seeking a qualified contractor to demolish 13 existing 1‑ton floor‑mounted PTAC units at the Roxie Clinic and install 13 new 1‑ton wall‑mounted Mitsubishi (or comparable) mini‑split HVAC systems. The scope includes removal of existing units, installation of indoor and outdoor equipment, refrigerant line routing, electrical re‑routing, thermostat mounting, start‑up and functional testing, required permits, inspections, debris removal, and a one‑year labor warranty plus manufacturer warranty. Work must begin after notice to proceed and be completed within 30 calendar days, with final turnover no later than June 30 2027. Bids are due by 2:00 PM on October 16 2026; an optional site visit is scheduled for October 6 2026.
• Demolition of 13 floor‑mounted PTAC units
• Supply and install 13 wall‑mounted 12 k BTU mini‑split systems (indoor & outdoor)
• Install refrigerant lines, brackets, and electrical disconnects
• Provide permits, inspections, and debris disposal
• One‑year labor warranty; standard equipment warranty (5 years)
• Completion required within 30 days of NTP; final turnover by 30 June 2027
• No bid bond or performance bond required; insurance and licensing as per NC statutes.
