RFP 002-2027 On-Call Consulting Forester/Arborist for Public Works Construction Projects

The City of Springfield seeks on‑call consulting forester/arborist services to support public works construction projects from concept through completion. The selected contractor(s) will provide professional forestry expertise, tree health assessments, and related consulting to the Project Manager and Urban Forester, with the ability to award multiple contracts as needed. This is a non‑mandatory pre‑proposal conference opportunity. • Provide on‑call forestry and arborist consulting for design, permitting, and construction phases. • Perform tree condition assessments, species identification, and mitigation recommendations. • Supply reports, drawings, and advice to support compliance with city and environmental regulations. • May be awarded to one or more firms based on best interest of the City. • Services are required on an as‑needed basis for various public works projects throughout the fiscal year.
