Description
The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is seeking information from vendors who can provide vending machine services to the DEA's Special Operations Division (SOD) in Chantilly, Virginia. The vendor will be responsible for providing prepared, packaged food, snacks, and beverages for purchase by DEA/SOD employees and visitors during normal business hours. The vendor will need to provide their own equipment, handle all sales transactions, and comply with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations regarding food safety and handling.
Key aspects of the job include:
• Providing a daily, on-site offering of food options available for retail sale to building occupants
• Ensuring all food preparation, transportation, presentation, and storage comply with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Food Code
• Handling all point-of-sale cash or card transactions
• Providing signage to explain the purchase process and prevent theft
• Complying with DEA/SOD security requirements and regulations
