Description
The City of Milton is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to provide comprehensive parks maintenance services for City parks, park facilities, athletic fields, trails, and passive park areas. The selected Contractor shall provide qualified personnel, supervision, vehicles, on-site equipment, tools, materials, communication, and routine support necessary to maintain the City's active parks, athletic fields, passive parks, trails, greenspaces, and related outdoor recreation areas. The contract will commence on or about October 1, 2026, and will automatically renew for four additional one-year terms.
• The Contractor shall provide service at various sites as directed by the City, including Bell Memorial Park, Legacy Park, Milton City Park and Preserve, and others.
• The Contractor shall provide a dedicated staffing, crew, and equipment model to maintain the City's parks and facilities.
• The Contractor shall provide a list of equipment available for use on this project, including vehicles, equipment dedicated to this contract, and backup equipment.
• The Contractor shall describe their approach to fill staff positions during vacation, illness, attrition, etc.
• The Contractor shall provide a sample weekly deployment schedule showing how the Working Foreman, Active Crew, Passive Crew, Floater, and weekend staff would typically be assigned throughout the City's park system.
