Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a qualified vendor to repair the compressor for AHU 21 Chiller at the Togus VA Medical Center. The scope of work includes removing and replacing the failed compressor, changing oil, and ensuring full system functionality after installation. The contractor will be responsible for all electrical disconnect/reconnect and controls integration required for the compressor replacement. The project is expected to be completed within 90 days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed.
Key aspects of the project include:
• The compressor to be replaced is a Copeland Scroll compressor, Model ZP180KCE-TWD-961, serial number 16H997031.
• The new compressor must be a 1-for-1 swap to fit existing pipe sizes.
• The contractor is responsible for procuring and disposing of all materials.
