Description
The Fort Bend Independent School District is seeking a qualified turnkey contractor to provide comprehensive annual inspection, testing, and maintenance services for fire protection systems across District campuses and facilities. The selected contractor will be responsible for ensuring all systems operate safely, reliably, and in full compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations. The scope of work includes annual inspections of fire alarms, standpipe/sprinkler systems, and kitchen hood fire suppression systems, as well as related services. The contractor must provide a detailed scope and narrative of proposed services, including a technical approach and work plan, licenses and certifications, and inspection and reporting documentation.
Key aspects of the job include:
• Annual inspections of fire protection systems
• Testing and maintenance of fire alarms, standpipe/sprinkler systems, and kitchen hood fire suppression systems
• Compliance with all applicable codes, including NFPA, local, state, and federal regulations
• Provision of a sample inspection report and documentation of recordkeeping practices
• Ability to minimize disruption to school operations
• Strong customer support and responsiveness to District staff.
