Description
The City of Stockbridge is seeking a qualified consultant to conduct a comprehensive Citywide Classification and Compensation Study. The study will evaluate the City's current job classification structure and compensation system and provide actionable recommendations that support internal equity, market competitiveness, and long-term sustainability. Key tasks include data collection, classification analysis, compensation analysis, recommendations, and implementation strategy. The consultant will also provide training to Human Resources staff on maintaining and administering the classification and compensation system.
• The consultant will analyze the City's current job classification structure and compensation system.
• The consultant will identify pay compression or competitiveness gaps and analyze fiscal impacts of recommended compensation adjustments.
• The consultant will develop a revised classification framework and compensation structure and provide implementation options.
• The consultant will deliver tools, guidelines, and documentation to support ongoing job evaluations, market updates, and internal equity reviews.
• The consultant will provide training to Human Resources staff on maintaining and administering the classification and compensation system.
