Tarrant County is requesting bids on an annual contract to provide preventative maintenance and repair of ice machines, ice dispensers, walk-in coolers, and walk-in freezers. The contract will be awarded to the lowest overall total bid that meets all specifications. The bidder must submit pricing for every line item. The contract duration is 12 months, with the option to renew for two additional 12-month periods. The vendor will be required to provide preventative maintenance and repair services for various equipment at different locations in Tarrant County. * Preventative maintenance services for ice machines, ice dispensers, walk-in coolers, and walk-in freezers * Repair services for equipment, including hourly labor rates and equipment usage * Materials and parts used during onsite repair services, with a percentage markup not exceeding 20% * The vendor will be required to provide proof of parts cost with every invoice that includes parts * Freight charges require pre-approval by Tarrant County Facilities Management, and if preapproved, freight will be invoiced at the vendor's exact actual cost with no additional markup or profit * The vendor must have experience in the relevant repair service industry and employ qualified technicians with at least five years of experience * The vendor must provide training programs for technicians and have a maximum onsite response time for repair service calls * The vendor must provide contact information for requesting repair services, resolving invoice issues, and after-hours repair services
